2016 Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investing Challenge

Participate in the 2016 Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investing Challenge. The competition asks graduate students to develop an institutional-quality investment vehicle that aims to achieve positive environmental or social impact as well as competitive financial returns.
Competition Overview
  • To participate, teams (four person maximum) are asked to submit a 2-page prospectus outlining an institutional-quality investment vehicle and the issue it addresses by 24 February 2016View the guidelines here.
  • Ten finalist teams will then be chosen by 11 March 2016, and flown to Hong Kong for the finals event on 15 April 2016, where they will pitch their idea to a panel of judges comprised of recognized leaders in the sustainable investing arena.
  • $15,000 of total prize money will be awarded. 
 
Teams are encouraged to find a local mentor either from within your academic institution, their alumni network, or the community at large. Teams can request a mentor by  20 January 2016, via the website.
